The power of Denim

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all doing fine and enjoying your sunday! Today I want to talk to you guys about "Denim".

You probably all remind that in the past it was "so not done" to combine a denim jacket or a denim shirt/blouse on a jeans... :-) That was soooo wrong... until now! This season denim is al over the place and very into fashion, luckily because I love it!

Why didn't we like this denim combinations in the past? I just think we were'nt ready for it yet ;-) But the Gods of fashion launched it back into daily fashion, and hey, what can we say? "Thank you so much for bringing denim back and let's start the search for our favorite denim outfit"!

I like to combine a skinny or flare jeans with a denim shirt, a nice belt and sneakers or some cool, camel boots. What if the "blue"colours of both denim pieces aren't the same? Who cares, this is the way to wear it ;-) Welcome to my closet, denim!

Last week I discovered a real musthave denim piece, and that piece I want to share with you guys.

The Denim Maxi dress.... We all know the gorgeous denim jump - and playsuits, the standard denim dress, denim blouses, shirts and jeans... but a denim maxi dress? That is something we haven't seen that much I guess.

I found my piece by coincidence on the online webshop asos.com under the brand "Daisy Street", with the reference: Daisy Street Utility Maxi Shirt Dress in Chambray Denim. An every day dress in a very soft denim fabric, with two high slits at the sides whats making it less stiff and easy to walk around in it ;-)

Conclusion: The maxi denim dress is a total musthave for this summer season! You can wear it for several occasions: a beachparty with a pair of flip flops and a nice straw hat, a romantic diner with a chic pair of sandals, for a late night party with a cool pair of loafers or plimsolls and even just to go to work (if you don't have to wear a uniform ;-) ) Maybe the lawyers gowns also need to be pimped into denim :-)
